In 2014, I moved to Germany. I had: - no German network - no German job market experience - no German language skills to speak of >> WASTED 6 months being unemployed<< and this despite the fact that I worked for Hp and Flipkart (India) and AMD (Singapore), before moving to Germany!! WHY? Because I was applying to German global brands who barely considered any Ausländer (foreigner) with no German work experience and no German education. Especially in finance domain. Since then, I have: 1) Worked for Amazon, Zalando and multiple startups in Germany 2) I offer finance consulting for German startups and real estate investors 3) Set up CDG to guide expats build German careers, without wasting time. If you are an expat in Germany who feels their career is stuck OR an expat who is considering moving to Germany for an international career, let's talk.
