I’m Arooj, an ACCA Affiliate and finance professional with 2 years of external audit experience. My journey into finance has been far from conventional—I started with FSc Pre-Medical, transitioned into B.Com, then pursued CA and became CAF qualified before completing ACCA. Making such a major career transition wasn’t easy, and I know what it feels like to question your choices, feel behind, or struggle to find your direction. That’s why I want to help others who are in a similar boat—whether you’re considering a career switch, pursuing ACCA/CA, starting your career in finance, or simply trying to figure out what comes next. Even though I’m now a finance professional, I’m still learning, growing, and discovering myself. Outside work, sports have always been a part of my life, and these days the gym is what keeps me going. I’m also rediscovering myself through reading and exploring new interests. I believe you don’t need to have everything figured out to move forward—you just need to keep learning, experimenting, and taking the next step.
