In 2018, I faced a challenging decision when it came to selecting my career path. As technology continues to advance and impact our lives, I sought a sustainable and fulfilling career that would keep me engaged and satisfied. Recognizing my interest in finance, I made the decision to pursue applied accounting. This choice has led me to where I am today – graduating in applied accounting and working towards a chartered accountancy qualification. By pursuing this qualification, I have gained a competitive edge in terms of my knowledge and understanding of money management and finance when compared to others. I have developed a diverse skill set through my studies, which includes auditing, taxation, financial management, corporate law, and expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). These skills, along with my pursuit of the ACCA qualification, position me favorably to achieve my goals and aspirations. Looking ahead, my long-term objective is to specialize in core finance and establish myself as a leading finance professional.
