In my job I have a role that combines being a developer and business analyst, in the field of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). My main objective is to automate business processes within my organization. This involves understanding the needs of the business assessing whether automation is feasible designing the RPA solution writing the code and implementing it in our production environment. Currently I collaborate with stakeholders and Gather requirements from areas of the business. The goal is to identify which processes are currently done manually and determine if they can be automated using predefined system requirements, established rules and exceptions as performance and scalability considerations. As part of my responsibilities, I evaluate whether a process can be automated by considering factors such as its repetitiveness and rule based nature. Additionally I assess if it has documentation consistent data inputs and outputs. Compatibility with RPA technology is also taken into account when determining the feasibility of automating a process. To ensure execution throughout the automation process I create various technical documents such as Technical Design Documents, Solution Design Documents, Process Design Instructions, Object Design Instructions. Additionally I prepare Scenario Lists with a handbook specifically tailored for Controllers or Testers. Having an understanding of both SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles and Agile methodologies allows me to effectively execute end, to end process automation projects.
