As a Scientist I at Alexion, a global leader in rare disease innovation, I work on injectable drug product development, applying my expertise in liposome-based drug delivery systems. I have a PhD from Cornell University, where I conducted research on synthesizing non-immunogenic lipid nanoparticles for organ-targeted oral delivery of bioactives, resulting in multiple publications in prestigious journals and awards. I am also a co-founder of Flora Food and Beverage, a Cornell eLab accelerator cohort company that produces a zero-sugar-added gut-health beverage using a sustainable and carbon-neutral processing method. I have extensive experience in team management, business model development, customer segmentation and acquisition, and marketing and sales strategy development. Additionally, I served as the Vice President of the Cornell Graduate Consulting Club, where I facilitated pro-bono consulting projects for various clients and industries. I am a strong advocate of prioritizing mental health, gender equality, inclusivity, and equal rights.
