About me
Leading cutting-edge applied research in AI, ML and autonomous systems. Over 13 years of research and deep tech experience across industry and academia.
At Ericsson Research, I drove a cross-functional team of 60+ talented researchers and project managers, across Sweden, India, US and Brazil, working towards a future network driven by AI and machine learning. Prior to that, I initialized and drove research efforts on trustworthy AI in the company. This led to strong thought leadership in the company that shaped its strategy in the area (leading to white papers, patents, research publications, customer interest and even standardization discussions).
I am passionate about seeding, growing and energizing communities around important AI/ML technologies. I'm a big believer in the magic of what tech teams can achieve when united by a shared vision. I've mentored data scientists and AI researchers, and love watching people around me grow.
I have filed 20+ patents, and co-authored 15+ peer-reviewed international publications. More importantly, I have driven projects and demos demonstrating to business teams the impact that AI can have in production.
My PhD at Exeter helped increase the level of autonomy in spacecraft manoeuvres, and the results and tools were delivered to the European Space Agency. My research background is in AI planning, explainable AI, safe reinforcement learning, control & optimization. Application areas include cell shaping, 5G network slicing, autonomous site inspection, cellular-connected drones and rockets.
