About me

I'm Anuj, and I'm passionate about empowering people with technology to solve real-world problems. I'm currently an Engineering Program Manager at Google Search, working on products that impact over 2 billion users every month. This new role marks the beginning of my second decade of impact, and I'm excited to scale my contributions to a whole new level! My first decade was an incredible journey of horizontal growth and direct impact. I've cherished being a role model and shaping amazing experiences for students, developers, experts, and entrepreneurs. It's been magical to create an impact for millions! ✨ DevRel, Google: Half of that decade was spent with the Developer Relations team at Google, where I felt right at home. I led programs like Google Developer Experts (GDE) and launched the Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders in India. We amplified community engagement through the India News Show on YouTube and impacted over 6 million developers worldwide annually. The accelerators I worked with have supported 1400 startups, 18 of which are now unicorns! They've collectively raised $35.8 billion in funding. This is also where I connected with so many amazing people, building genuine friendships and sharing unforgettable experiences at community summits, bootcamps, and those epic karaoke nights! Previously at Intel: Before Google, I spent several years at Intel transforming the Indian technology landscape. I spearheaded a Public-Private Partnership with NITI Aayog (Government of India) to establish Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs), bridging the innovation skill gap. This initiative, recognized by our Honorable Prime Minister of India, has scaled to impact 11 million students! These "Tinkerpreneurs" are the future of India's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Fun Facts: 1. Met Sundar Pichai Twice: I even gifted him a piece representing our Google for Startups Accelerator program with a handwritten thank you note. 2. Intel Celebrity: My dedication to the developer community earned me "Intel Celebrity" status worldwide! I'm incredibly proud of the impact I've made, and I'm eager to explore new horizons in my second decade. My role at Google Search allows me to continue fulfilling my mission of inspiring and empowering people on a billion-person scale!
