About me
Georgia Tech Engineer → Goldman Sachs Investment Banker → Presenter, Writer & Communication Strategist
I graduated with highest honors from Georgia Tech (B.S. in Industrial Engineering, GPA 3.9/4.0), and began my career at Goldman Sachs in New York, working across the Sales & Trading (S&T) and Investment Banking divisions.
After two rewarding years, I took a leap of faith, leaving Wall Street to return to India and pursue a career as a presenter and writer.
With no formal media training or industry connections, I made the transition from investment banking to sports presenting, and have since gained extensive experience working with major networks and organisations including Star Sports, Sony Sports and Cricbuzz, as well as IPL franchises such as CSK and KKR.
While the roles and environments have changed over the years, one thing has remained constant: communication has been at the centre of everything I've done. And I say that despite having spent four years studying Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech.
I've spent much of my career thinking about, practising and learning how people communicate, connect and influence — whether that was during investment banking, presenting, interviewing people on camera, or now working with executives and athletes.
Through that career trajectory, I've come to genuinely believe that communication and people skills are among the highest-leverage skills you can develop. All else being equal, getting better at them can profoundly influence how you work, lead, persuade and connect with others, your professional effectiveness, and even how you navigate the world around you.
Having experienced that firsthand, I wanted to help others develop these skills too. That's what led me to communication mentoring.
Today, I work with professionals, founders, executives, athletes and others to strengthen the way they communicate, converse and carry themselves. My 1:1 mentoring is highly personalised and focused on the specific communication challenges, goals and professional context of each person I work with.
