While applying for Bachelor’s degrees, I discovered that many consultancies charge exorbitant fees yet barely provide the guidance needed to get into a top university. I contacted various consultant agencies, but none truly understood my aspirations and how to navigate financial aid. After embarking on this journey alone- taking the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and TOEFL- I immersed myself in the process. Over the past few years, I have worked in the admissions office of an Ivy League institution, created informative sheets, attended events, visited campuses, engaged with admissions committees, spoke with student ambassadors, and secured fee waivers. Through my friends’ and own self-driven experiences, I realized that only those facing these challenges firsthand can truly appreciate their difficulties and offer genuine support.
