While applying for a Master's, I discovered that many consultancies charge a considerable fee, but can barely scratch the surface of what is required to gain admission to a top university. When I decided to pursue higher education, I contacted a few agencies, but no consultant could guide me on what I truly wanted. I was not great with financial aid, which was a huge factor after taking the various tests (GRE, GMAT, LSAT and TOEFL). I prepared informative sheets, attended events, visited college campuses, spoke with the admissions committee and student ambassadors, and obtained fee waivers. After going through this process myself, I realised that only people who have experienced it firsthand can truly understand its hardships and guide others. It's a full-time 3-6 month-long process, and getting 1-1 guidance from a mentor solely dedicated to your cause is your best bet for an effortless journey towards your dream school!
