I am a consultant turned tech business leader with 12+ years of experience scaling high-growth consumer businesses across India and the UAE. I’ve built a career at the intersection of strategy and execution, solving complex challenges, finding PMF, driving growth, and leading teams to deliver results. Recently at Careem, as a N-2 business leader, I led the SuperApp category expansion to new verticals beyond Deliveries core to launch Home Services and Car Rental; and scaled these to $50Mn ARR businesses at healthy profitability, making Careem's vision of an Everything App a reality (fundamental to unlocking Careem’s latest fundraise of $400M). Prior to Careem, I was a senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey where I focused on Retail and Consumer clients; most notably, I helped Carrefour's MENA business launch their online store, and defined the grocery category strategy playbook for their quick commerce and Next Day delivery businesses. Before McKinsey, I was a category manager at Henkel in India, and was instrumental in launching the Asian Paints<>Loctite range of adhesives, challenging Pidilite's dominance in the craftsmen market The mix of my experiences has skilled me to be able to balance big-picture strategy with executional detail with ease, zooming in and out of details as needed.
