About me
As a Quantum Physicist at TCS quantum incubation team, I work on developing and implementing quantum computational approaches for material science and pharma problems. I have successfully completed multiple PoCs for pharma and material science customers, demonstrating the potential of quantum computing for speeding up density functional theory and post-DFT calculations in early-stage drug development workflows.
I have also filed seven patents in 2022-2023 for novel methods of diagonalizing large matrices using quantum computing techniques such as qubitization and quantum signal processing, which can reduce the computational bottleneck in optimization and factorization algorithms. My PhD in Quantum Condensed Matter from IISER Kolkata equipped me with the skills and knowledge to apply variational quantum eigensolver based algorithms to model multi-orbital Hubbard models using the Gutzwiller embedding Hamiltonians method. I have published my research in New Journal of Physics and arXiv. My goal is to leverage my expertise in quantum computing, electronic structure, and statistical mechanics to solve challenging and impactful problems in various domains.
