As an ML Platform Engineer, I work at the intersection of LLMOps, MLOps, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, Kubernetes, Spark etc. I build and maintain several components of the ML Platform backend. Over the years I have built backend components around model training, model serving, model monitoring, anomaly detection etc. general MLOps for ML platforms. I own ML Platform distributed training efforts with Ray, Sagemaker Hyperpod, Pytorch Lightning, DeeSpeed, FSDP, Transformers etc. I support ML Engineers and Data Scientists by leading and developing abstractions and software frameworks that enable distributed model training and distributed data processing. I enjoy sharing our experiences with distributed computing by presenting our work at conferences and learning from the community.
