I currently work as a Senior Software Engineer at Zscaler, focusing on backend systems and performance-critical components in C, along with some exposure to machine learning systems. I come from a Mechanical Engineering background, but developed an interest in computer science during college and transitioned into software engineering through self-study in DSA and core CS fundamentals. I have also had the opportunity to work with JPMorgan Chase & Co. (UK, off-campus) early in my career, and later spent some time at Netskope, gaining experience in real-world backend systems and engineering practices. During college, I used to mentor juniors preparing for software engineering roles.
