About me
With over 20 years in enterprise technology and financial services, I work at the intersection of identity security and large-scale systems engineering. My focus today is Identity and Access Management (IAM) and identity governance for Zero Trust architectures — making sure the right people, services, and machines get exactly the access they need, and nothing more.
I'm a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. In recent years I've led identity governance and enterprise integration work delivering connector frameworks and governance solutions that span legacy mainframe (RACF), modern identity platforms (SailPoint IdentityIQ), and public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Entra ID), including complex, regulator-driven integration programs. Earlier in my career I spent more than a decade architecting mission-critical mainframe systems for global financial institutions — including American Express, Citibank, and BNY Mellon's Pershing — which gives me a rare end-to-end view, from mainframe to cloud-native security.
Beyond my day job, I care deeply about growing the next generation of engineers. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, professional certifications in identity and security, and executive education from Harvard [specify the exact program]. As a member of the Cloud Security Alliance and a judge for STEM and hackathon programs — including the MakeOhio hackathon and the Johns Hopkins University health hackathon — I enjoy mentoring talent and evaluating new ideas. I'm always glad to help with IAM, identity governance, enterprise integration, and breaking into cybersecurity engineering.
