Learn the ecosystem quickly and move to the next big opportunity to encash the newly gained knowledge quickly before it becomes obsolete or before more people with similar skills join the work force. The shelf life of any technology/knowledge is just 2-3 years and that is the time window you can command a high salary based on newly gained skill.
