For the past two years, I had been working as a software engineer for Mastercard in the Prepaid Services program and my experience has revolved around the Travel Card Website, which customers use for purchasing and managing Mastercard issued Prepaid cards. Prior to that, I pursued my Bachelor of Technology from NIT Surat where I graduated with a CGPA of 8.85. I also worked on a project to detect common cold from speech signals using neural networks which was published in the Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing research journal of Springer Nature publications last year. My work experience in a customer-facing application, led me to want to play an impactful role in identifying customers’ problems and coming up with ideas to resolve them. With a strong desire to learn the best practices in the field and gain an in-depth understanding of core management principles to help me in my career ambitions, I am currently pursuing my MBA in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. My next step after graduation from this B-School is to pursue a career in a business side role in the tech industry developing innovative products.
