Testimonials
What I love about Amrita is that she truly listens. She never judges, and she always responds with examples that are actually relevant to what I am going through, not random textbook advice. She has this rare empathy where you can tell she has been in the shoes you are coming from, and that makes all the difference. Unlike other therapists I have been to, Amrita brings perspectives I have genuinely never heard before. Her frameworks are wonderful. She is empathetic, friendly, and just an amazing human being. I always walk out of our calls with more clarity than when I walked in.

About me
Hi, I'm Amrita Bharti, and I am glad you are here. A detailed note is shared below, but the three key things you should know are listed first:
1. I have gone through the whole "Is this it!?" phase after achieving my goals, and holding good jobs that offer a lot of value. I have felt empty and purpose-less, and navigated my way out of there through books and support from other people. It was a mix of working on my mental health, mental fitness, physical changes, intentional external changes to my surroundings, a myriad of internal shifts. If you are navigating a similar space now, let's talk.
2. I have had 4 seemingly unrelated roles. Career transitions have naturally found their way to me - and the bedrock has been 'transferable skillsets'. If you are navigating / contemplating a career transition, I am here for you.
3. The best time of my life (once I started working) has been my planned career break. It took me 4 years from the day I knew I needed a career break to actually taking it. You don't have to spend that much time depleted - if you are considering a break, let's talk.
Detailed bio:
I am a trained professional coach, on a mission to help employees lead happier work lives. I do this through a wide range of skills and frameworks I have acquired in my NYU coaching program, and hundreds of hours of live coaching education and experience. I am an ICF member, and currently working towards an ACC credential.
Over the past decade or so, I have been on the search for my ikigai, although I found this word only about 5 years ago. And, on this decade-long journey, I have worn many professional hats. I have been an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, DGM Strategy for Godrej Consumers, and have been an integral part of core strategy teams at two well-funded technology startups, one in the AI space. I've worked briefly with Walmart, taken a planned career break, and I am currently working in the technology industry. I have lived in 10 cities so far, and my most recent adventure has brought me to New York City.
I am a daughter, sister, spouse, and friend. I love reading books - physical printed books that I can hold and smell. I enjoy drawing, practicing yoga, hiking, going on long walks, and I'm absolutely crazy for chai. On the adventure vs. comfort spectrum, I sit in the middle zone, but closer to adventure.
Thanks to my strong support system, I have had the privilege to complete my schooling from DPS Ranchi, engineering from BITS Pilani (Hyderabad), and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Each of these experiences has deeply shaped who I am today.
