Brief bio: Overall 11+ years of diverse experience spanning across Buy-side (Family Office & Treasury, PE/VC), Sell-side (Institutional equities) and Strategy & Analytics Consulting across India, EMEA and North America. Alumnus of HEC Paris & BITS Pilani & past CFA charterholder. In his current role as GM & Deputy CIO of Modern India Limited (an unlisted public company with more than 500 employees), Amrit is responsible for co-developing the group's core investment strategy & co-managing their entire treasury & Investment portfolio which is diversified across asset classes in both public & private markets. This role is at the intersection of financial markets & data science whereby he is developing cutting edge strategies around portfolio optimisation, asset allocation, risk management to enable sustainable alpha generation.
