Practical Guide to Manage and Filter the GA4 Data

Practical Guide to Manage and Filter the GA4 Data
Digital Product

In Simple Words

This Live ebook is about cleaning and managing the data Google Analytics collects so that your reports are accurate and useful.

There are 3 main tools:

Cross-domain measurement → If your business runs on more than one website (example: one site for shopping, another for payment), you want Analytics to treat them as one journey. Without it, Analytics would think the customer left one site and came as “new” to the other. Cross-domain fixes this by linking them.

Unwanted referrals → Sometimes, a customer temporarily goes to a third-party website (like a payment processor) and comes back. By default, Analytics thinks that website is a “referral source.” But that’s misleading because you don’t want to treat PayPal as your traffic source. So, you tell Analytics: “Ignore these websites as referrals.”

Data filters → Not all visitors are real customers. Sometimes it’s you, your employees, or developers testing. Their activity pollutes the data. With filters, you can block such internal or developer traffic from being counted.

In this Live Ebook you will learn how to do all the above practically.
