I've been through a few different competitive paths myself: IIT JAM, BHU PET, CSIR JRF, a research role, the UPSC CSE interview stage, CAPF AC, and now PGPX at IIM Ahmedabad. Each one taught me something different about what these paths actually involve, beyond how they look from outside.
I know how confusing it can be when you're doing well across multiple areas and can't decide where to commit. This call is meant to be a straightforward conversation about that decision, not a lecture.
Useful if you're figuring out:
Research vs. government services vs. management, and what actually fits you
Whether to keep attempting an exam or shift to a different path
How to think about tradeoffs in time, effort, and risk across options
What day-to-day life actually looks like in paths you're considering
What we'll do:
Talk through your background, interests, and constraints
Go over the realistic pros and cons of the paths you're weighing
End with a clear next step, based on what makes sense for you, not a generic answer
