I am Amir, a strategy and innovation leader with over ten years of experience in creating and implementing digital solutions that solve complex problems and deliver value for users and businesses. I am currently the Head of Design Language System at PETRONAS, where I lead the development and adoption of Emerald HUE, our enterprise-wide design system that ensures consistent, accessible, and user-friendly design across all of our digital products and applications. As a certified AgilePM and Scrum practitioner, I apply agile and user-centric methodologies to manage projects, facilitate design sprints, conduct industry analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. I am passionate about bridging the gap between design and code, and achieving cost savings, productivity, and user satisfaction through Emerald HUE. Some of my key achievements include developing a cloud-based design system that achieved 5x more adoption, and saving up to RM20M+ by streamlining the design stack and reducing the design and code gap. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new challenges, and achieve the impossible in the most spectacular ways possible. I am also an avid Manchester United fan, nocturnal gamer, and coffee lover.
