At Captain Fresh, I apply my expertise in object-oriented programming and REST to build innovative and robust applications for the seafood supply chain industry. As an SDE-ll, I work with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products that improve the efficiency and sustainability of seafood sourcing, processing, and distribution. Some of my recent achievements include optimizing the performance and security of the backend services, integrating new features and functionalities to the web and mobile platforms, and troubleshooting and resolving complex issues and bugs. Before joining Captain Fresh in June 2022, I was a Software Engineer at Veritas Technologies LLC for three years, where I contributed to the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions for data protection and management. I gained valuable experience in working with various cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as developing and testing microservices, APIs, and databases. I also completed a two-month internship at SwitchOn, a startup that provides predictive maintenance solutions for industrial assets, during my Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, in 2019.
