I started my journey with Start-Ups & MSMEs in 2018 when I left a lucrative paying job to pursue my passion to help these enterprises. I always liked the dynamism, innovation, diversity, tech orientation & modern-age business models Startups have and I could not resist being an active partner in their journey to success. For MSMEs, it’s important for them to be fast, growth-oriented, and cost-conscious and they can’t afford to hire full-time experts like me hence I decided to work closely with them as their Virtual CFO (Part Time CFO). Presently, I help Start-ups to get ready for funding so that they can raise funds for their accelerated growth. I assist them to convert their unique business ideas into a well-defined Business Model Canvas. I work closely with founders on their Financial models to quantify (and then validate) their business model, assumptions, and vision so that they are able of finding out whether they can turn their ideas into a sustainably operating business. This journey of mine continues for their Business Valuation, Pitch Deck, Preparation for Due Diligence, Setting up a data room for due diligence, and Due Diligence Management. As an active partner, I work closely with Start-Ups & MSMEs as their CFO to help them with Strategic Financial Management, Corporate Governance, Treasury, Financial Accounting Operations & Reporting, Taxation, Audit & Assurance, Compliance, Risk Management, Change Management, Commercial negotiations, and ERP Implementations. Before quitting my job, I worked for more than 15 years with well-established companies in ITES, Retail, and manufacturing domains. During this tenor, I gathered an extensive experience in Corporate Governance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Cash Flow Management, Internal Controls, Risk Mitigation Strategies, Revenue Governance, Working Capital & Assets Management, Budgeting & Forecasting, Cost Control, Audits & Assurance, Compliance, Financial Reporting etc. I have achieved significant results in areas like Cost Optimization; Receivables Management, Working Capital Management, and Cross border treasury functions.
