Alka Gupta is the Vice President of Operations(acting COO) at BukuWarung, an Indonesian startup that aims to accelerate financial success of MSMEs in South-East Asia. Alka has experience in ride-hailing, payments, food tech, and fin-tech across South East Asia. She started her career with Nearbuy in founders office and then moved to South East Asia in Grab, was part of the launch team for GrabFood in 6 countries, sustainable scaled OVO in Indonesia and later built Bukuwarung as founding team member. Outside of her full-time work, Alka coaches and mentors founders and mid career professionals to unlock their true potential. She aspires to inspire women of colour to choose STEM as a career choice, create safe, diverse and equitable workplaces.
