A career is not a straight line. Neither was mine.

In 11+ years I have worked across startups, product companies, and financial institutions — made deliberate moves, a few wrong turns, and learned what actually matters when you are deciding where to go next.

This is a 45-minute session for engineers who have a career question they have been sitting on and need a straight answer to.

What we can work through:

  • Which company or role to target — and how to think about it beyond just the salary
  • How to position yourself for a senior or staff role when you feel stuck at your current level
  • Whether to switch — when it makes sense and when you are just running away from a problem that will follow you
  • How to recover from a bad move, a layoff, or a gap in employment
  • What to focus on in the next 6–12 months if you want to grow meaningfully

What I will not do:

Tell you what you want to hear. If your plan has a gap, I will point it out. If your expectations are off, I will tell you that too. That is more useful than validation.

Who this is for:

Engineers at any stage — fresher trying to pick a direction, mid-level wondering whether to stay or leave, or someone senior figuring out what the next chapter looks like.
