I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Mälardalen University and a software engineer with over a decade of industry experience. My research focuses on the development of complex software-intensive systems, particularly in software architecture and model-driven development. My recent work includes exploring trustworthiness in autonomous systems, analyzing digital twin architectures, and architecting ML-enabled systems. I have co-authored numerous publications in prestigious journals like ACM Computing Surveys and the Journal of Systems and Software. I continue to investigate innovative approaches to enhance the efficiency and reliability of software development in various domains, including automotive, manufacturing, and AI integration. My professional background includes working in the automotive and underground mining domains, where I developed industrial modeling languages, automated software generation tools, and served as a testing leader for a SIL 3 mine hoist safety system. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a freelance photographer, fitness enthusiast, and espresso lover.
