Hi I am Alaknanda Swaroop, currently a Career Growth Coach, HR Consultant, Keynote Speaker and a Content Creator. Early days in my college I realized I had a fascination for people's behavior and leadership, so while my friends were choosing science, mathematics, commerce , I chose Industrial Relations and Personnel Management ( which we call Human Resources/ Intellectual Capital) now as one of my graduation subjects. It was quite a 'not-so-sought-after course'. I then further pursued Master of Social work specialising in Labour welfare and I was able to clear All India Open Entrance Test to get selected as a 'Management Trainee - Personnel' in one of the Navratna PSUs called I.P.CL. I worked in the giant setup with a workforce of 11,000 plus with multiple sites and rose to the position of Sr Manager- HR. I then worked in 5 different sectors for 25 plus years in diverse set of companies - Petrochemicals, Refining, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Pharmaceuticals. I rose to the position of Sr Director- HR and for 15 yrs headed HR leading HR efforts reporting into CEO/MD both in Indian companies and in multinational matrix set ups. In my career I have coached thousands of professionals unleash their potential and helped them with their growth and career success. Currently as a Career Coach it is my mission to help 100,000 working professionals to get breakthroughs in their careers to become top 5% talent in their companies. My goal is to elevate the careers of working professionals through targeted career development strategies, resulting in fast-tracking of promotions and maximizing earning potential. Through my coaching, professionals learn how to take charge of their careers and grow 10x faster by developing clarity on their goals and learning the strategies, tools and methods by following the SPRINT Model (Skill Building-Performance-Relationship Building-Initiative-Networking-Teamwork). As HR Consultant I help companies devise HR strategies and their implementations. I was featured in ‘Colour of White’ publication by OPPI as one of the leading women in Indian Pharmaceutical industry. I am certified Competency Mapping expert (TVRLS), certified in POSH by Ministry of Women and Child Welfare, trained on ‘Strategic Human Resource Management’ from IIM Ahmedabad, Certified in Recruitment and Interviewing skills by IHRD, trained on Total Rewards by Aon and Lead Auditor of ISO 14001 by DNV.
