🍀 Hi, I’m Akshita -- an MEL consultant and social impact practitioner working at the intersection of data and development. My work spans gender, health, nutrition, and education, with a focus on applying MEL to amplify the social impact of governments, non-profits, social enterprises, and foundations. I believe monitoring and evaluation should be decision-relevant, human and low-burden, and anchored in internal learning and reflection -- not just a donor reporting requirement. ✨ Over the past few years, I’ve: ❋ Worked with the Govt. of Rajasthan to strengthen their programs for women and girls ❋ Supported evaluations of SEL and nutrition programs across Jharkhand and the Philippines ❋ Co-developed a TB prevention study for under-5 children in Bihar and UP ❋ Developed participatory approaches to share findings with communities through storytelling and visuals ❋ Co-designed evaluation for an education-focused state-level Technical Assistance program in East India Through my work and actions, I want to create a positive and meaningful impact in the world. The opportunities in education and life that I've received (due to my privilege) must be used to improve lives and uplift the underserved. Impact orgs are at the forefront of building a more just and equitable world and reaching overlooked communities. Their work is essential and needs to be powered.
