Akshay is currently working at Dunzo with the primary focus on cost side of the PnL, constantly striving towards achieving positive unit economics. He is responsible for developing and implementing product strategies aimed at driving down delivery costs, while improving the post order user experience & delivery partner experience on the platform. This has helped him gain a deep understanding of the challenges the Quick Commerce world is facing, specially in hyperlocal grocery delivery, in a highly competitive market.
Akshay carries with him a unique & diverse set of experiences across sectors like E-commerce, Travel, D2C, Gaming & Payments. Solving for some of the core product problems while fostering an empowering work environment for his team has prepared him to take up bigger challenges on product & people front.
Akshay is an MBA graduate from S P Jain Institute of Management & Research and Johnson Business School, Cornell University. He is an Economic Times Young Leader Awardee - 2017.
