I am currently an MS CS student at Columbia University. I did my undergraduate study from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I am very enthusiastic about using software to add value to the world. I am an aspiring entrepreneur and constantly on the lookout for problems that need to be solved or processes that need to be made easier. I took entrepreneurship courses at IIT Bombay that greatly influenced my goals and my education at Columbia is also centred around tech entrepreneurship. I am currently working on a data platform for innovation, to boost innovation through information aggregation and AI. My undergraduate education specialised in AI and I have been involved in several AI research projects in the past. I have a keen interest in computational neuroscience and its relation with AI. I am of the view that AI today is vastly different from how the brain works. AI today is hyper specialised for tasks and needs a large amount of data to train, while our brain in very generalisable in its learning across tasks and can learn from much lesser data. I wish to continue learning about the brain and eventually bridge the gap between these two worlds through my research and entrepreneurship goals.
