Hey! I’m Akshat, a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs and previously worked at Oracle. I’ve worked across startups, open source, competitive programming, research, and large-scale backend systems. At Goldman Sachs, I build scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, and microservices. At Oracle, I worked on database performance benchmarking, automation, CI/CD, and Kubernetes. During college, I gained hands-on experience through multiple software engineering internships, including RudderStack and Cypherock. I was also selected for the Major League Hacking (MLH) Fellowship, where I contributed to open-source projects and built an SDK for the Vyper Protocol on Solana. I later developed a strong focus on problem solving and competitive programming. I’m a LeetCode Knight (1985, Top 3% globally) and a Codeforces Specialist, with 800+ DSA problems solved across competitive programming platforms. Alongside engineering, I worked on academic research and published a paper in ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology (TIST), a leading ACM research journal. I’m on Topmate to help students and software engineers who are preparing for their next career move. I can help you with: • Planning and preparing for a job switch • DSA and coding interview preparation • Backend, Java & Spring Boot interviews • Resume review and positioning • Mock interviews and interview strategy • Preparing for product-based companies • Creating a personalized interview preparation roadmap • Early-career software engineering guidance If you’re planning a switch and want a clear, practical strategy for getting interview-ready, feel free to book a session.
