I am a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, where I apply my skills and passion for solving common and important real-world problems using cutting-edge technologies. I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, where I learned the fundamentals of software development and design. Previously, I worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Flipkart, one of the leading e-commerce platforms in India. There, I built scalable and reliable backend services for various domains, such as flights, hotels, and order management. I also mentored junior SDEs and helped them with project requirements, solution approaches, and code reviews. Some of my notable achievements include setting up the entire Flipkart Hotel backend service from scratch, owning the Flipkart Flights backend service entirely, and designing and developing a platform to perform multi-batch processing of queries. I have also published a research paper on a chatbot for career guidance using AI, and participated in several competitive programming contests, achieving high ranks and ratings. I am proficient in the MERN Stack, Dialogflow, AWS, and various programming languages, such as Java, Python, and Go. My goal is to continue learning and growing as a software engineer, and to contribute to the advancement of the software industry.
