Akriti is an alumni relations professional who believes in the power of communities. Currently with BCG BST, Akriti is a part of their marketing team, where she manages their alumni network. As the founding member of the Alumni Relations Office at Ashoka University, she worked towards building an inclusive alumni network, which was mutually beneficial to alumni, university stakeholders and the surrounding ecosystem. Her role included both, strategy and execution, along the verticals of alumni and student engagement through events and fundraisers, communications and daily operations. After completing her post graduation in English Literature from Delhi University in 2016, she worked in the space of digital marketing with various start-ups. Her eagerness to explore further propelled her towards the prestigious Young India Fellowship, which is a post graduate diploma in liberal arts. Her extensive academic background in humanities, coupled with her work experience at India’s fastest growing premier liberal arts and sciences university, has made her believe that innovation and adaptability, fostered in an environment of inclusive leadership, is the mantra of growth. As a woman of the world, her heart finds joy in solo traveling and participation in community activities, both geared towards psychosomatic wellbeing. Her mission in life is to challenge sticky schemas and worn-out patterns, away from burn-outs, and towards an inspired thought process.
