I’m currently working as a Data Scientist at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), where I work with large-scale, high-quality financial data and build reliable, production-ready data science solutions. This role has deepened my understanding of applying ML in high-impact, real-world systems where accuracy, explainability, and robustness truly matter. Before LSEG, I was a Data Scientist at The Times of India (Bennett & Coleman). There, I built ML models to predict article virality, developed RAG-based news summarization systems, created dashboards used by millions, and deployed scalable APIs on AWS. I also led a small team and worked closely with product and editorial teams to deliver measurable business impact. My strong foundation comes from an M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence from IIT Roorkee, where I worked extensively on machine learning, NLP, and recommender systems. I’ve also secured AIR 49 in the Amazon ML Challenge and AIR 90 in GATE. I started my journey with a B.Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, which gave me a solid engineering mindset and analytical thinking that helped me transition into data science.
