Guidance - Breaking into PM

I transitioned to product management roles from Mechanical Engineering, Sales and Consulting background.

The 5 questions I had were -

1. I don't know coding. Is this the right fit?
2. How will my past experience/degree be relevant?
3. Will my skills and personality fit into this new path?
4. How will my career in PM vs existing career be (pros/cons wrt remuneration, work life balance, growth etc)
5. How do I break into PM?
