Finding your research statement

You know you're drawn to research but when someone asks you what you want to study, you go blank. This session is for students who have genuine curiosity but struggle to translate it into a focused, articulate research interest.

• How to connect your experiences, readings, and observations to a research question
• What a strong research interest looks like versus a vague one
• How to articulate your angle in a way that feels authentic and not borrowed
• How your research statement fits into your overall application narrative
• How to refine and sharpen your statement before writing your SOP
