About me
- Former national level TT player who did Engineering in Chennai to escape the "bank/railways" life and then did every extra curricular (NGOs, internships, writing etc to try and do something different
- Had 3-4 months to job hunt (start-ups were the early adopters & flavour of the month back then) in start-ups or end up in CTS in the year of graduation (2014). After mailing some 40-50+ founders, landed a job in zepo.in (Mumbai).
- Did BD and a bunch of things with them (including help open and set up the Bangalore office).
- Jumped to Blackbuck (uber for trucks) since I did not get my first choice of companies (uber & ola). Learned B2B BD, Ops and PnL management. Launched ops in Kandla/Mundra (Gujarat) and stayed there for 8 odd months. Great experience.
- Had to move to Chennai for personal reasons and joined a legacy company called Matexnet to help freshen things up for them in the B2B procurement and product/processes space. Cultural mismatch led me to moving on to a start-up once again. Tried my best to start-up on my own but could not.
- Joined Pando Corp (B2B logistics saas) to get back to the start-ups and logistics (+saas) industry. Helped define a lot of their CS processes and side by side worked hard on my own start-up idea.
- My start-up idea got to a better shape and the cofounders became confident to start on our own. Plan was to digitize the extra curriculars industry and build a report card for extra curriculars. Covid hit. Continued and pursued a lot of different engagements to make money and pay salaries to the team (team of 10 including interns). Had to eventually shut shop in around June 21.
- Joined Fareye in the Customer Success/Delivery space. Handling 7+ accounts with ARR of close to 800k USD. Helping them gain value in the visibility space and through various Fareye solutions. Had a small team of 3 CSMs under me + 3 Customer Ops Executives + on ground manpower for various projects (40+) and one Director + VP above.
- Current Account Director with SpotDraft, a legal tech start-up (Series A) and responsible to write the AM playbook and all things revenue + expansions
