I graduated with Distinction from the Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore with a BTech in Computer Science, and a GPA of 9.29/10. During my undergraduate studies, I got the highest scores in some significant courses, such as Algorithms, Data Structures, and Operating Systems. I realized that I needed to explore various sub-domains of computer science. To do that, I enrolled myself in several MOOCs like Machine Learning Nanodegree offered by Udacity. The thrill of completing the Nanodegree compelled me to take similar MOOCs like Deep Learning Specialization from DeepLearning.ai, Probabilistic Graphical Models from Stanford University, etc. I am someone who believes in continual learning and actively tries to keep up with the current trends in the industry and research communities. I pursued this obsession with AI/ML by working on several independent projects like 3D Shape Generation, Few Shot Face Recognition, Neural Architecture Search, Image captioning, and Visual Question Answering. These projects helped me improve my knowledge of the current state of research in various areas of computer vision and in coming up with a prototype of existing SOTA solutions using deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc. I am currently working as a Researcher at TCS Research and Innovation as a part of the Data and Decision Sciences group under the supervision of Dr. Prasant Misra working in creating Smart Mobility solutions. My research interests are in the broad area of Artificial Intelligence with a focus on learning for applications of AI and deep learning in the real world.
