A Forever dreamer... a curious bug...crazy optimistic and a friends-proclaimed philosophical guru. Even before she could recollect, she has always been doing many things but one. The curious bug in her got activated at the age of 2 And she started with swimming, followed by Kathak dance classical singing, badminton canvas paintings..and many many more And there was no coming back. A dreamer in her never let her sleep or settle... She feels in Urdu and Hindi...and conveys her feelings through Nazm and Shayari. One thing that calls her back from time to time is nature. Not just as a designer but as a person she finds herself belonging to Mother Earth. Through her 5 years of the architectural program, she observed many things, traveled to many places, and met many people which changed her perspective towards things, and when reflected she realized what are things that she doesn't like or would really not enjoy doing. And what remained was everything she loved. Every time she started designing, she always thought of local materials, people, their needs, and how she can make it more and more sustainable. Worked on many research and documentation projects in Banaras, Nepal, and Himachal Pradesh. Also worked on Community Skill Center based on Gandhian Ideologies for my Thesis and worked on a research paper on Participatory Architecture. Worked with research centers like Geeli Mitti on Projects which experimented with different Natural Building techniques and conducted workshops teaching practicals of Natural Building techniques, Materials and Permaculture. She is into using and exploring humble materials, Passive techniques and learning, experimenting and implementing sustainable techniques, and understanding and building community-rich holistic designs and solutions.
