About me

I graduated from BITS Pilani Goa Campus majoring in Mathematics (MSc.) and Electrical Engineering (BE) in 2021. I currently work as an Applied Scientist 2 at Microsoft Turing focussed on building copilots and AI Agents. Prior to this, I worked as an Applied Scientist in the Alexa International team at Amazon and Search Data Scientist @ Lowe's India in the Search Sciences Team and worked on improving the search experience using session-based recommendation systems and Query Reformulation models. I've successfully completed a Research Internship @ Microsoft Research India and American Express AI Labs. I was also invited to be part of the Google AI Summer School in 2020 and MILA Research Symposium in 2021. I successfully won Smart India Hackathon in 2019/20 under the Ministry of Railways. Currently, I've been able to successfully publish 5-6 Research Papers in the area of CV/NLP: (1) AI-assisted Cell-Level Fault Detection and Localisation in Solar PV Electroluminescence Images (Computer Vision) in ACM SenSys '21 - AIChallengeIoT. (2) Towards Automatic Transformer-based Cloud Classification and Segmentation (Computer Vision) in NeurIPS '21 - Tackling Climate Change using ML Workshop. (3) End-to-End Code Switching Language Models for Automatic Speech Recognition (NLP) [unpublished] Will also be independently working on a few applied research problems in the area of multilingual language models and health-care-based Computer Vision problems.
