About me
As an Aerospace and Electrical Engineer, I specialize in, flight dynamics, simulations, optimization, guidance, navigation and control systems. My academic journey began at the Institute of Space Technology, Pakistan, where I earned my bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering with Magna Cum Laude honors, also receiving the Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal for the best final year project. Currently, I am enhancing my knowledge by pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering at Memorial University of Canada, supported by a fully-funded scholarship.
In my role as a graduate research and teaching assistant at Memorial University, I'm developing model-based optimal waypoint navigation and control algorithms for drones and helicopters. My professional experience includes working as a Control Design Engineer at Turkish Aerospace on the TF-X (KAAN) Fighter Jet Technology Demonstrator project and serving as an Assistant Manager (Technical) in Pakistan's public-sector aerospace industry, focusing on nonlinear flight simulators and control design for various aerospace systems.
My expertise extends to flight dynamics, modeling, robust control theory, nonlinear controls, model predictive control, and data-driven control, with a growing interest in machine learning.
Through my Instagram and YouTube channels, I'm dedicated to guiding the next wave of aerospace and electrical engineers. My efforts are centered on elevating Pakistan's presence in the aerospace sector, bridging the divide between major industry players and students from underrepresented backgrounds.
