Bhaiya helped me in choosing a field best for me understanding my interests just like a Doctor does to his patient!!
I am currently in my 4th year of BTech and have placements within a month. I am prepared with all the topics needed to ace the interviews and coding rounds like DSA, Projects, CS Fundamentals like Computer Networks and DBMS. I was pretty confused how should I spend this month preparing and what else am I lacking. Aditya Bhaiya told me to go with Object Oriented Programming and Low Level Design. These things I never thought of doing because most resources only talk about DSA only. His suggestion is to go with Object Oriented Programming in Java and correspondingly see some of the important and most commonly asked Design Patterns like Singleton Design Patterns. Along with this he also mentioned some good hindi playlists which he himself had prepared like from Shreyansh Jain YT Channel. I find myself lucky to have been introduced to Aditya bhaiya just before my interviews and would definitely go with Mock Interviews with him if possible and I get time.
Aditya Bhaiya explained me a revision strategy for next 5 days before my Microsoft Interview like revising all the solved DSA Questions on Leetcode- basically seeing them and revising what could be done from an upper level. Along with giving some to Projects he also asked me to have an overview of Object Oriented Programming due to time contraints in the preparation.
I loved how he understood my problem and how he explained his approach with giving reasons for doing things. He is possibly one of the best mentors out there I believe who understands pain of College Students.
One of the best mentors I have ever met in my life. He is so friendly, treated me like a younger sibling asking for help to a senior. He shared his relatable experiences and didn't even once considered the time limit. The session was scheduled for half an hour but it continued for more than 45 minutes.
My concern was how to start for being a Software Engineer as I am from Mechanical Branch and in my first year. He showed me a good path of what really is becoming a SDE is. He questioned me is it Peer Pressure, Salary or a dream. Through his cross questioning, I could figure out my path and why I am doing so. He asked me to explore Machine Learning too apart from just development and Data Structures. It was really a helpful session and I do wish He showed me a right path and within those 45 minutes understood what my problem was- overthinking and not starting things. I am really grateful to him and will definitely conduct more sessions with him.
It was a great session and i got to learn many things.
I liked the way you gave me constructive feedback.
