About me

For me, therapy is not just about talking through challenges, it’s a space of safety, exploration, and growth. I see it as part of a wider journey of well-being, something you add to your toolkit when you want to understand yourself more deeply, work through stuck emotions, or simply have a space that’s yours. As a counselling practitioner, I believe in approaching people with curiosity and compassion. What draws me to practice, and also to take therapy myself, is the way it opens doors to awareness that we might not find on our own. Sometimes that happens through words, and sometimes through the body, which is why I also integrate Dance Movement Therapy into my work. Movement often allows what we cannot always put into language to be expressed, witnessed, and healed. I don’t see therapy as a quick fix, but as an ongoing process of learning and unlearning. It can help you reconnect with yourself, feel more grounded, and develop tools that support you in everyday life. If you’re curious, uncertain, or even nervous about therapy, that’s okay. The process unfolds gently, and I’ll meet you where you are.
