With more than 13 years of corporate experience, my journey has encompassed roles from software developer to UX Designer, and I've had the privilege of hiring individuals across the spectrum, from entry-level to senior leadership positions. A pivotal moment in my career occurred when I took an 18-month maternity break and later returned to the corporate world. This experience exposed me to the challenges many women encounter, including a loss of confidence in their abilities, often through no fault of their own. It's a painful ordeal that no one should endure. My journey through diverse roles, industries, and organizations has provided me with invaluable insights into the significance of presenting skills and dedication through a well-crafted resume. Having been on both sides of the hiring process, I understand firsthand the profound impact a thoughtfully designed resume can have on recruiters and hiring managers. Conversely, I'm acutely aware of how easily a qualified candidate can be overlooked due to a subpar resume. I've channeled my experiences from interacting with countless candidates across various roles into my book, "Switching Careers." My mission is to ensure that no skilled professional ever experiences joblessness. I'm dedicated to empowering individuals who possess the skills but may lack the confidence to reach their full potential.
