I'm excited to announce my career transition from a Structural Engineer to a Data Analyst. With over 9+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer, I developed strong problem-solving and analytical skills which I am now utilizing in my role as a Data Analyst. I have been able to combine my background in engineering and mathematical foundations to excel in this field. I realized that my true passion lies in working with data and discovering insights that can drive business decisions. To make this transition, I took online courses and self-taught various data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau. I also gained practical experience through internships and academic projects. As a Data Analyst, I have worked on various projects that include data cleaning, modelling, and visualization, using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Power BI. I have a proven track record of being able to extract insights from complex data sets and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. I am also experienced in working with cross-functional teams and have been able to contribute to improvements in key business metrics and increase revenue. I am excited to continue to grow and develop my skills in this field and make an impact in my new role as a Data Analyst.
