About me

I bring a rich blend of experience and genuine passion to the field of humanitarian social work, complemented by a solid background in environmental management. My journey began with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2016, where I dedicated eight years to serving as a counselor educator. Throughout my tenure, I honed exceptional skills in community engagement, fostering deep connections and collaborative partnerships to tackle pressing issues. My proactive approach and sincere empathy empowered individuals and communities to navigate psychosocial challenges and achieve meaningful progress. Beyond my daily responsibilities, I extended my commitment to humanitarian causes by actively participating in the production of a documentary shedding light on noma, a devastating ailment affecting vulnerable populations. This involvement underscored my unwavering dedication to amplifying the voices of those in need. Driven by a steadfast desire to drive sustainable change at the grassroots level, I now aspire to concentrate my efforts on training communities in the early detection, prevention, and treatment of noma. Leveraging my keen insight into the significance of timely intervention and access to necessary resources, my goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to identify noma symptoms, implement preventive measures, and facilitate referrals to essential healthcare services. My journey epitomizes an enduring commitment to humanitarian principles and an unyielding determination to enhance the well-being of communities impacted by noma. With a blend of experience, genuine enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication, I am poised to make a tangible difference in the fight against noma and contribute to the establishment of healthier and more resilient communities
