Achintya is a Mathematics major undergraduate student at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, with minors in Environmental Science & Studies and Physical Education. He takes great interest in doing research in the field of sustainability of natural resources and environmental stability and policies. His primary focus lies in climate mitigation through carbon-footprint, emissions, and credit research and policies. An active climate enthusiast, activist, and leader, Achintya has been engaged as a mentor in several of his college projects, attended national symposiums and summits as a youth representative. He is affiliated and associated with numerous environmental institutions, NGOs, and policy think tanks. He is also a passionate competitive swimmer, a national gold medalist swimmer in India specializing in butterfly and sprint freestyle events. He has been actively competing at the national swimming arena for the past 10 years straight (2012-2022).
