I'm a Ph.D. student at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I am in the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical systems and my research area is in the field of Optimal and Safety-Critical Control. I'm currently working on a project which involves the development of Artificial Pancreas for Type-1 DM patients. Safety is paramount for a medical device such as this, hence safety-critical control methods become essential. Prior to starting my Ph.D. coursework, I was working in an Aerospace and Defense company wherein I worked on Control Laws for Autopilots. I have a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Dynamical Systems and Control theory). My Bachelors degree was in Mechatronics Engineering. I've also worked briefly in the Robotics and Automation industry.
