As a Data Engineering Specialist, I am responsible for managing the development of data pipelines and architecture to encourage the adoption of best practices and standards. I work with a team of data engineers to ensure that all data solutions are effective and efficient. On a day to day basis, I hire and coach new data engineers, review and approve designs, and troubleshoot any performance issues. I also coordinate with the technical architect and engineering manager to ensure custom data solutions meet organizational requirements. My team and I build tools, scripts, and processes that leverage data to help drive business decisions. I stay up-to-date on emerging trends in data engineering to ensure our solutions are competitive and current.
