Mentoring on Climate change
Climate change refers to the long-term alteration of Earth's average weather patterns, including temperature, precipitation, and wind patterns, primarily caused by human activities. The burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, industrial processes, and other activities release greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere, trapping heat and leading to global warming. This warming can result in various environmental impacts, such as melting ice caps, rising sea levels, more frequent and severe weather events, and disruptions to ecosystems and biodiversity. Addressing climate change is a critical global challenge to ensure a sustainable and habitable planet for future generations.
